Over the last 15 years C3 Church and Primal Youth have been training and equipping young leaders to step into their calling of church leadership while using their gifts for the building of the Kingdom of God. We have consistently seen young people step up to accept the call on their lives and God use them to assist in the planting and establishing of churches throughout New Zealand and the Pacific region. As a result, thousands of young lives have been transformed by his grace and power.

Our heart is to build fantastic leaders and provide a pathway into church ministry. These courses are specifically designed to challenge and inspire. Built on a foundation of biblical truth, connection with the Holy Spirit and practical ministry experience, we want to see people completing this course with the knowledge of who they are and what they’re called to do with their lives. Leadership is a high calling and not for the faint hearted, say “Yes” to God, step out in faith and dedicate a year of your life to building his kingdom. Primal youth churches have exploded across the nation and this is your opportunity to be a part of an ever expanding team of radical youth pastors! Join with us as we work to see youth churches planted in every city in this nation.

Six Months of intensive training & preparation, then six months leading a primal youth church under the covering of a local c3 church.Take up a seriously radical challenge and play a part in seeing the negative youth culture of NZ transformed.

Fees and Accreditation

We have two options available for students in regards to study and fee payment.

- NZQA accredited Option
We operate in conjunction with LIFEWAY College giving students the option of an NZQA recognized qualification and the ability to apply for a student Loan, student allowance or living and course related costs. The qualification offered is a Level 4 certificate/diploma in Christian Ministry. The fees are $4000 but can be covered by a NZ Government student loan (available to NZ citizens and permanent residents only).

- Unaccredited Option
No officially recognized qualification is available on completion of the course and students will not be able to receive any government assistance. The fee’s for this course are $1800 and need to be paid upon commencement of the course.

Entry Criteria

All students must be age 17+, with a minimum NZQA level 1 qualification, any student under the age of 18 must have parental consent. Application forms must be submitted with 2 reference forms one from the students church pastor. Students must be committed Christians and will be requested to attend Sunday services at C3 Church Ellerslie during their study. Students must agree to course code of conduct.

Course Details

We run two intakes annually, commencing late January and early July. Course days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday. But there will be times where students will be required to be available for other events/camps etc.
