SING O Barren Woman (Isaiah 54:1)

Fi
It seems a somewhat odd request to be asked to burst into song and shout for joy when you are going through one of the worst situations of your life. But there it is - In black and white - so to speak.

The request is, I believe, intended to focus us on the promises of God and to give us a KEY to stepping out of despair and into hope.

So what do we SING about?

In the Bible there are Songs of Love, Songs of Joy, Songs of Despair, Songs of Rememberance, Songs of Deliverance, Songs of Worship.

So we are going to SING on the mountain, and SING in the valley and we are going to experience the faithfulness of God, as we believe together that He is Big and He is Real.

If you are tone deaf - and being asked to SING seems an uncomfortable proposition - the shower is always an option!!

Or just SING anyway xx
