New day people

In Genesis 28:17 Jacob had a radical life change. He had a vision from God,

He said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven.”

This moment changed him and God changed his name from Jacob (meaning: under miner) to Israel (meaning: may God prevail). This was the new day moment for Jacob that led him to become the Father of the nation Israel.

What makes us new day people?

Here are some keys to entering your new day.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NCV) If anyone belongs to Christ, there is a new creation. The old things have gone; everything is made new!

1. New day people are in Christ

If anyone belongs to Christ, there is a new creation.

Make sure your life is firmly in Christ

If your in Christ – you are entitled to this new life

Jesus died to turn it around for your life

Have you had the radical life change?

Let the change take place

Let the new creation come forth

2. See what God is doing

Isaiah 43:19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?

God has a future for us. Seeing what God is doing is seeking him for His will and believing the truth in His word.

 3. Leave the old behind

The old things have gone.

You can’t have the new when you still hold onto the old. You can’t have both. It takes a step of faith and obedience to leave your old ways behind and step into the new purpose of God.

4. Get in faith for the future

Everything is made new!

Are you ready for something big in God? God is so much bigger than our own plans.

He leads us in a direction which will challenge our faith.

Start believing in a big God with big things for your future.

Start living in the faith zone and get ready for God to move!
